About the Role

We are seeking a certified Forklift Operator to join our team in Andersonville, Tennessee. In this role, you will operate sit-down forklifts to load, unload, and stage goods in a fast-paced crossdock environment, ensuring efficient warehouse operations and adherence to safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate sit-down forklifts to load and unload freight in crossdock environments
• Accurately pull orders based on shipping or receiving instructions
• Stage goods for shipment or storage in designated areas
• Ensure proper handling of loads to prevent damage or safety hazards
• Follow safety procedures and warehouse protocols during forklift operations
• Conduct pre-operation inspections of forklifts before use
• Collaborate with warehouse staff to coordinate freight movement
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment at all times
• Report equipment malfunctions or safety concerns to supervisors
• Adhere to company policies regarding safety and productivity

Required Qualifications

• Certified forklift operator capable of operating forklifts handling 20 lbs+ loads
• Experience with sit-down forklift operation in a warehouse or crossdock environment
• Ability to accurately pull and stage orders
• Availability to work in Andersonville, Tennessee

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience working in logistics or freight handling
• Knowledge of warehouse safety protocols

Work Environment / Physical Requirements

• Standing, walking, or operating forklifts for extended periods
• Handling and moving freight of 20 lbs or more
