Forklift Operator and Warehouse Picker

We are hiring for a third party logistics warehouse that ships large items straight to customers' doors. You will split your shift about evenly between driving a forklift and picking orders by hand, so if you get restless in one spot, you will feel right at home.

This is real freight. Single pieces often weigh 50 to 120 pounds. You will have teammates and equipment backing you up, but you need the strength and stamina to keep moving all shift long.

Your job in one line: keep the shelves accurate, keep the trucks full, and keep everyone safe.

• Pick orders from their locations using paper pick lists and a forklift
• Put away incoming freight to its assigned spot and keep every location accurate
• Run weekly cycle counts and flag anything that does not add up
• Stage picked goods and hand them off cleanly to the order desk
• Load outbound 53 foot trailers for FedEx and UPS, fitting every inch of space safely
• Follow every safety rule, every time, because no order is worth an injury

• The strength to lift and move heavy freight, commonly 50 to 120 pounds, with team help and equipment, all shift long
• Comfort splitting your day roughly half on the forklift and half picking on foot
• Fluent English so you can stay sharp on the radio, during hand offs, and around safety calls
• Forklift experience, and if you are the right fit, we can get you certified
• A careful eye for SKUs and locations, and a safety first mindset
• Reliability you can set a clock by, plus the drive to hold a steady pace from start to finish

• You speak Mandarin or Spanish, which is a big plus on this floor
• You have loaded trailers before, sideways or straightway pallet loading
• You have worked with oversized freight or in a 3PL warehouse

We will be straight with you. This job is a workout. Expect frequent heavy lifting with team help and equipment, about half the shift on foot, and the rest behind the wheel of a forklift. You will work across a warehouse and dock area where temperatures shift with the seasons. If you like ending the day knowing you actually moved something, you will like it here.

$18 to $22 an hour depending on experience, and there is room to talk for the right person. Full time, day shift, so your evenings stay yours.
