Forklift Operator

Job Location: Benicia, California

Job Type: Temp to Hire

Pay Rate: $19-$22/hour

Schedule: Monday - Friday; 7:30am - 4pm

Description of Position:
Do you have experience as a forklift operator working in a wine warehouse? We are looking for reliable candidates with forklift experience who are interested in night shift work. This is a great opportunity to join a busy warehouse team during a period of high demand. For the right person, this temporary assignment could lead to a full-time permanent position.

Job Requirements:

  • Unload pallet/floor loaded inbound containers

  • Accurately receive and label product via Warehouse Management System (WMS) using handheld RF equipment

  • Safely move product to inventory stock locations and replenish picking areas

  • Pick, label, and stage cases for outbound orders according to RF or voice-directed instructions

  • Maintain productivity and efficiency standards while ensuring accuracy

  • Participate in physical inventory counts

  • Keep warehouse clean, safe, and organized

  • Report breakage or safety issues immediately to supervisor

  • Arrive on time and consistently meet goals and objectives

Experience Required:

  • Proven experience as a forklift operator (cherry picker experience strongly preferred)

  • Familiarity with warehouse equipment and processes

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety

  • Ability to work night shifts consistently
