Forklift Operator - Black River Produce, North Springfield, Vermont (VT), Full Time, 1st Shift,

Performance Foodservice, PFG's broadline distributor, maintains a unique relationship with a variety of local customers, including independent restaurants and hotels, healthcare facilities, schools, and quick-service eateries. A team of sales reps, chefs, consultants and other experts builds close relationships with each customer, providing advice on improving operations, menu development, product selection and operational strategies. The Performance Foodservice team delivers delicious food, but also goes above and beyond to help independent restaurant owners achieve their dreams., Position Summary:

A Forklift Operator is responsible for efficiently and accurately unloading product, sorting, segregating and putting away the product into the proper locations throughout the warehouse; and other duties as assigned.

Schedule:

Monday - Friday: 11am - Done (Typically 40-hour week)

Position Responsibilities:

• Will operate various kinds of powered industrial equipment which may include stand-up or sit-down fork trucks, rider pallet trucks, slip sheeter, and other equipment found in distribution warehousing.

Must be able to work the scheduled, assigned times and

required overtime for the position.

Able to stand, walk, reach and lift repeatedly throughout shift.

Able to lift and stack product between 10-35 pounds and up to 80 pounds occasionally throughout shift.

Able to work in multi-temperature environments, i.e. cooler, freezer and dry.

Pass pre-employment drug test., Over one year warehouse work experience and or distribution experience operating machines.

Foodservice/grocery distribution industry experience
