Starting Pay: $15.00 per hour with the opportunity for compensation increases within your first 90 days after you've completed training.
Production Schedule: Monday-Friday, 5:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m., with occasional Saturdays as needed. This role guarantees 40 hours per week, with overtime during our peak production seasons.
Operate the forklift to unload and load product as needed. Help coordinate activities in a warehouse environment. Maintain and promote a safe working environment. Work on special projects and other duties as assigned by management.
Responsibilities
Operate forklift safely while unloading/loading/ moving product internally within the warehouse.
Responsible for upkeep/housekeeping of warehouse facility.
Assist the team in achieving and maintaining inventory.
Knowledge/experience of material handling goals via cycle count in the stockroom and assembly function.
Help investigate any adjustments to the system as required.
Special Projects and other duties as assigned by management.
Ability to work overtime as required.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent
Working knowledge of computer applications, including database, spreadsheet, and word processing. Ability to develop and analyze spreadsheet data.
2 years of warehousing experience, forklift certification required. Experience with inventory procedures.
Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs. on a regular basis.
Qualified in operating forklift trucks, material handling equipment, and packaging machines.
Ability to use computerized shipping systems as required.
Attention to detail and good written and oral communication skills.
Basic math skills using fractions, decimals, and whole numbers, accuracy with numbers required.
