Job Summary

Southwest Warehouse Services is seeking a dependable and safety-conscious Forklift Operator to support overnight warehouse operations in Denton, TX. This position is responsible for safely moving, loading, unloading, and organizing materials while maintaining an efficient and orderly warehouse environment.

The ideal candidate has forklift operating experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced warehouse setting, including a cold working environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate a forklift safely to move, load, unload, and transport materials throughout the warehouse.

• Load and unload incoming and outgoing shipments.

• Move products to designated storage locations and maintain accurate product placement.

• Assist with staging, organizing, and preparing materials for shipment.

• Inspect forklifts and equipment before use and report any mechanical issues or safety concerns.

• Follow all warehouse safety procedures and operating guidelines.

• Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work area.

• Work with warehouse team members and supervisors to meet daily productivity goals.

• Perform additional warehouse duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Previous forklift operating experience preferred. Crowne Reach lift experience is preferred.

• Ability to safely operate warehouse equipment and handle materials.

• Ability and willingness to work in a cold warehouse environment for extended periods.

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.

• Ability to follow instructions and work effectively with a team.

• Dependable attendance and punctuality are essential.

• Ability to work overnight hours consistently.

• Ability to lift, carry, and move materials as required by the position.

Schedule & Compensation

• Starting pay: $20.00 per hour.

• Shift: 10:30 PM – 6:30 AM (3rd Shift)

• Location: Onsite in Denton, TX.

• Training and certification: Candidates will complete a forklift certification process onsite following the interview, including a paid three-hour orientation.

Work Environment

This is an onsite warehouse position that may involve extended periods of standing, walking, operating equipment, and moving materials in a cold environment. Candidates must be comfortable working in low temperatures throughout their shift and following all applicable safety procedures. The role requires reliability, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a team-oriented, production-focused environment.
