Job Description:
Material Handlers manage the flow of materials within a manufacturing facility. They ensure that production areas are fully stocked with materials and that finished products are moved appropriately.
Responsibilities:
Load, unload, and move materials within or near plant, yard, or work site.
Use hand trucks, forklifts, hoists, conveyors, or other handling equipment.
Maintain inventory by identifying, labeling, and placing materials and supplies in stock; recording location of inventory.
Prepare finished stock for shipment by identifying, pulling, packing, crating, loading, and securing product.
Document materials and inventory movements by recording data in control systems.
Job Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent; certification to operate a forklift.
Experience in warehouse or material handling operations.
Good physical condition and endurance.
Basic computer skills for inventory management.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
