Forklift Operator

A Forklift Operator, also known as a Material Handler, plays a crucial role in warehouse operations. They are responsible for efficiently moving goods within the warehouse or other industrial sites using a forklift or other loading devices. The primary focus is on unloading deliveries, stacking boxes, and ensuring the safe transport of materials.

Responsibilities:

• Unloading and Stacking:Unload materials and merchandise from incoming vehicles (trucks, containers, etc.).
• Stack items to assigned places within the warehouse or storage area.
• Product Movement:Locate and move stock of products to pallets or crates for storage or shipment.
• Transport raw materials to production workstations as needed.
• Quality Control:Identify damages to products and report shortages or quality deficiencies promptly.
• Inspect machinery regularly to determine the need for repairs and ensure safety.
• Inventory Management:Keep updated records of inventory and activity logs.
• Comply with company policies and legal guidelines.
