Position Summary:

Reporting to the production supervisor, the production forklift driver will be responsible for assisting in daily production needs to include general labor activities as well.

What You’ll Do - Position Responsibilities:  

·  Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment in a safe and efficient manner.

·  Transport raw materials, ingredients, packaging supplies, and finished products between production, warehouse, and shipping areas.

·  Supply production lines with materials needed to maintain continuous operations.

·  Remove finished goods from production lines and transport them to designated storage locations.

Experience You’ll Bring – Role Requirements:

• Forklift experience, license not required
• Follow safe forklift driving rules and regulations
• Work in a changing environment
• Work outdoors/indoors, in hot/cold, noisy, and dusty environments
• Enter and back out of tight spaces
• Must be able to work some weekends as needed and up to a 12-hour shift
• Ability to work in other departments and do other tasks as needed
• Physical Demands
• • Twist and turn frequently while working
  • Stand and work for prolonged periods
  • Work from heights while wearing a safety harness
  • Ability to work in changing weather conditions – heat/cold
  • Routinely lift and stack 55+/- pound bags and boxes
  • Understand and follow instructions
  • Understand and follow all Food Safety & Sanitation rules

The pay for this role ranges from $16.01- $16.17 per hour and is based on position responsibilities and geographic location. Actual pay within this range may be determined based on the candidate's experience, qualifications, and/or other determining factors.
