PositionSummary

The Forklift Operator is responsible for safely transporting raw materials, finishedgoods,andinventorythroughoutthefacilitywhilesupportingwarehouseoperationsandproductionrequirements.Thisroleplaysacriticalpartinensuringproductmovementisaccurate,timely,andcompliantwithallsafetyandqualitystandards. This is a night shift position.

Theidealcandidateissafety-focused,detail-oriented,andexperiencedoperatingvarioustypesofpoweredindustrialequipmentinafast-pacedmanufacturingorwarehouseenvironment.

EssentialFunctions

• SafelyoperateforkliftsandotherpoweredindustrialtrucksinaccordancewithcompanypoliciesandOSHAregulations.
• Load,unload,move,stack,andstageproductsandmaterialsthroughoutthefacility.
• Supply production lines with raw materials to supportuninterruptedoperations.
• Transportfinishedgoodstodesignatedwarehouseandstoragelocations.
• Accuratelycompleteinventorytransactionsusingwarehousemanagementsystems,scanners,orhandhelddevices.
• Performdailypre-shiftequipmentinspectionsandreportmaintenanceconcernspromptly.
• EnsureproperstorageandrotationofmaterialsusingFIFO(First-In,First-Out)practices.
• Maintainaclean,organized,andsafeworkenvironment.
• Assistwithreceiving,shipping,cyclecounts,andinventoryauditsasrequired.
• Verifyproductquantities,labeling,anddocumentationbeforemovementorshipment.
• Followallfoodsafety,quality,GMP,andcompanypolicies.
• Collaboratewithwarehouse,production,andlogisticsteamstosupportoperationalgoals.

Qualifications

RequiredQualifications

• HighschooldiplomaorGEDpreferred.
• Minimum1yearofforkliftoperatingexperienceinamanufacturing,distribution,orwarehouseenvironment.
• Abilitytooperatesit-down,stand-up,reachtruck,andpalletjackequipmentsafelyandeffectively.
• Experienceloadingandunloadingtrailers.
• Basiccomputerskillsandexperienceusinginventorysystemsorscanners.
• Abilitytoaccuratelycount,track,anddocumentinventory.
• Strongattentiontodetailandcommitmenttosafety.

PreferredQualifications

• Currentforkliftcertification.
• Experienceinahigh-speedmanufacturingenvironment.
• Experiencewithwarehousemanagementsystems(WMS).
• Knowledgeofinventorycontrolandcyclecountingprocedures.
