Forklift Operator/Forklift Driver

Location: McKenney, VA 23872
Starting Pay: $17.00/hour, based on experience
Schedule Options: Monday–Friday or Wednesday–Sunday
Hours: 8:00 AM–4:30 PM

Job Responsibilities

• Safely operate forklifts to move, load, unload, and organize materials throughout the facility.
• Load and unload trucks following proper safety procedures.
• Move raw materials, finished products, pallets, and other materials to designated areas.
• Stack and organize pallets and materials in warehouse and production areas.
• Inspect the forklift before each shift and report mechanical or safety concerns.
• Follow forklift operating procedures and company safety policies.
• Assist production and warehouse teams with material movement.
• Keep aisles, loading areas, and work areas clean and organized.
• Verify materials and products before moving or loading them.
• Communicate with production, warehouse, and management regarding material needs.
• Maintain awareness of employees and equipment operating around the forklift.
• Perform other warehouse and material-handling duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Previous forklift experience preferred.
• Must be able to safely operate a forklift in a busy manufacturing environment.
• Must follow all company safety rules and procedures.
• Dependable and able to work scheduled hours.
• Able to lift, move, and handle materials as required.
• Able to work as part of a team.
• Able to follow instructions.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Additional training or certification may be required depending on the specific forklift/equipment being operated.
