Forklift Operator - Order Selector

About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated Forklift Operator - Order Selector to join our warehouse team. In this role, you will operate electric pallet jacks to efficiently select, move, and stage products, ensuring accurate order fulfillment in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Read production schedules, customer orders, work orders, and shipping documents to determine items to be moved, gathered, and distributed.
• Pull and prepare products for shipment, verifying the quantity and type of items loaded.
• Sort and position materials on racks, shelves, or bins based on size, type, style, color, or product code.
• Assemble customer orders from stock, stage orders, and convey orders to packing or shipping departments according to pick sheets.
• Load, unload, move, stack, and stage products using electric pallet jacks or other powered equipment.
• Maintain equipment cleanliness and safety, report maintenance or service needs.
• Operate in a manner that promotes warehouse security and safety standards.

Required Qualifications

• Experience operating electric pallet jacks or similar powered equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret production and shipping documents.
• Physical ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
• Availability to work in a warehouse setting involving standing, bending, and lifting.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience in a warehouse or distribution center environment.
