Work Environment
This role is based in a structural steel fabrication shop and yard, with work performed both indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions. The environment is fast-paced and involves heavy equipment, overhead cranes, and large steel material, so noise, dust, and active production around you are part of the day. Required PPE includes safety glasses, hearing protection, steel-toed boots, gloves, and a hard hat. The work is physical and involves regular lifting, bending, and climbing on and off equipment, along with time spent seated operating a reach forklift.
