Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment to move products and materials safely and efficiently.
- Load and unload trucks, ensuring accurate inventory management and proper handling of goods.
- Conduct regular inspections of forklifts and report any maintenance or safety issues to management.
- Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area and storage facilities.
- Assist in inventory counts and record keeping as needed.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Valid forklift operator certification.
- Proven experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or industrial setting.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety practices.
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks as required.
- Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including overtime as needed.
