Forklift Driver (Sit-Down Forklift) | Worthington, IN
Pay: $22.00-$25.00/hr (depending on shift)
We're hiring dependable Sit-Down Forklift Drivers for a busy warehouse and production facility in Worthington, IN. This is a great opportunity for individuals with forklift and warehouse experience looking for steady hours, overtime, and a safety-focused work environment.
Schedule
- 36-48 hours per week
- Up to 6 days per week
- Must be able to work days or nights
Shift Options:
- 1st Shift: 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM
- 2nd Shift: 2:00 PM - 10:30 PM
- 3rd Shift: 10:00 PM - 6:30 AM
Job Duties
- Safely operate a sit-down forklift
- Complete forklift inspections and maintain equipment
- Load, unload, receive, stage, and move materials throughout the warehouse
- Track inventory and material movements using WMS and scanning systems
- Assist with shipping, receiving, and trailer loading/unloading
- Work closely with warehouse, shipping, and scheduling teams
- Perform inventory counts, general cleaning, and warehouse support tasks
- Follow all safety procedures and PPE requirements
Preferred Experience
- 1+ year of forklift experience
- 1+ year of warehouse experience
- Previous forklift certification preferred
Qualifications
- Ability to safely operate a forklift in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to count inventory and follow warehouse procedures
- Comfortable working independently or with a team
- Able to read, write, and communicate in English
- Able to lift up to 60 lbs. and work on your feet throughout the shift
- Reliable transportation required
