Looking for steady weekday hours and a warehouse position where you're doing more than just driving a forklift?

Spherion Mid Ohio is hiring an experienced Forklift Shipping & Receiving Associate for a clean, organized facility in the Wilmot area, conveniently located near Wayne and Holmes Counties.

You'll work Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM, giving you a consistent 1st-shift schedule and an early afternoon finish. This role combines forklift operation, shipping and receiving, inventory, and computer work; making it a strong opportunity for someone with previous warehouse experience who's ready for more responsibility and variety.

What You'll Do

• Operate a sit-down forklift/tow motor to move materials safely and efficiently
• Load and unload incoming and outgoing trucks
• Receive, stage, and organize materials and shipments
• Transport materials to production areas as needed
• Prepare and organize outbound shipments
• Verify materials and shipments for accuracy
• Enter and update inventory information using computer software
• Help maintain accurate inventory and shipping records
• Keep the shipping and receiving area clean and organized
• Work with production and warehouse team members to keep materials moving

What We're Looking For

• Previous sit-down forklift/tow-motor experience required
• Previous warehouse, shipping, receiving, inventory, or manufacturing experience preferred
• Comfortable using a computer for basic data entry and inventory records
• Strong attention to detail and organization
• Ability to safely load, unload, and move materials
• Dependable attendance and consistent work history
• Ability to work independently while contributing to a team
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. as needed
• Comfortable working in a cooler-temperature environment
