Our client is seeking a highly skilled Forward Deployed Engineer to facilitate the successful deployment and operationalization of AI solutions within enterprise production environments. This role serves as a critical bridge between advanced AI technology and real-world application, requiring a unique blend of software engineering, infrastructure expertise, and customer-facing communication. Our client expects the successful candidate to collaborate directly with customer engineering, security, and infrastructure teams to implement scalable, secure, and reliable AI systems. Critical requirements:
3-8 years of experience in software, infrastructure, platform, or solutions engineering
Strong production experience with Kubernetes
Hands-on experience with at least one major cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
Proven customer-facing experience working with engineering, security, or compliance teams
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Fluent English communication skills
Availability for twice-weekly evening meetings to align with an international team
Important requirements:
Previous experience in a startup, technology consulting, or modern cloud infrastructure environment
Ability to build deployment automation, Helm charts, scripts, and runbooks
Experience leading technical planning, solution architecture, and production readiness reviews
Nice to have:
Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
Experience with Generative AI, LLM applications, or AI infrastructure
Knowledge of AI deployment, evaluation, and observability platforms
Experience with identity and access management solutions (OIDC, SAML, Keycloak, Entra ID, Okta)
Background in regulated industries such as financial services, healthcare, or government
