Forward Deployed Engineer

Location: San Francisco (Onsite)

Salary: $130,000 – $500,000 + Equity

• Embed directly with enterprise customers to understand technical requirements and business objectives
• Architect and build custom integrations, APIs, and workflows on top of the platform
• Deploy scalable, production-grade solutions in customer environments
• Own customer implementations end-to-end, from scoping through launch and expansion
• Build internal tools and reusable components to accelerate future deployments
• Translate ambiguous business needs into clear technical plans and shipped systems
• Collaborate cross-functionally with product, engineering, and operations to influence roadmap priorities

• Strong software engineering fundamentals in a modern backend language (Python, Go, Rust, etc.)
• Experience building and deploying production systems in cloud environments (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
• Experience designing APIs, integrations, and data workflows
• Comfortable working directly with customers and explaining technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
• Strong systems thinking across infrastructure, data flows, and reliability
• High ownership mindset with the ability to operate autonomously in ambiguous environments
• Track record of shipping end-to-end solutions with measurable impact

• Experience in forward deployed, solutions engineering, or customer-facing engineering roles
• Background working with enterprise customers or complex technical stakeholders
• Familiarity with AI/ML systems or data-intensive platforms
• Experience building reusable systems or internal tooling from customer learnings
• Prior experience in fast-paced startup environments

• Base salary: $130K – $400K + meaningful equity
