Build the software that runs a factory, from raw materials to finished parts. This is a hands-on role with ownership across product, architecture, and deployment, working directly with hardware engineers and factory operators.
Own product, architecture, and deployment for a manufacturing OS covering supply chain, quoting, pricing, inventory, scheduling, and production workflows — plus CAD automation, mold generation, simulation, and real-time factory data pipelines feeding a digital twin. You'll work directly with hardware engineers and factory operators.
Must-haves
U.S. Citizen or Green Card holder, no sponsorship, now or ever
2-8 years shipping production-grade software
Full-stack: TypeScript frontend, Python or Go backend
Built operational systems from scratch (ERP, MES, logistics, inventory, or similar) with complex relational data models
End-to-end ownership track record, from problem definition to production
Thrives in ambiguity, ships fast, communicates well, works directly with non-technical operators
Nice to have
Manufacturing, robotics, or hardware/software integration background
CAD, computational geometry, or 3D environments
Physics simulation, model post-training, or quantization
Founding-engineer or early-stage startup experience
