JOB DUTIES:
- The role will be a Manufacturing Engineering Manager for Mapleton Foundry and Machine Shop.
- Responsbile for leadership over manufacturing engineering team consists of up to eight direct reports including manufacturing engineers and production non-traditional roles.
- Accountable for value stream goals and alignment with operations on people, quality, velocity, and cost targets for full value stream foundry and machine shop.
- Responsible for actively recruiting and continuing to build a strong performing team.
- Continuous improvement project leadership.
BASIC REQUIREMENTS:
- Requires analytical ability as well as excellent oral and written communications skills.
- This position requires a 4-year college degree in an appropriate engineering or technical discipline with 7 years of progressive manufacturing experience, or equivalent 15 years of progressive manufacturing experience.
- Direct leadership, project leadership, or team lead experience required.
- Foundry or machining process experience required.
