The opportunity

We're looking for an FP&A Analyst to join our Miramar team, reporting to the FP&A Manager. You'll partner closely with Finance, Operations and Value Stream leaders to understand financial and operational performance and turn data into actionable insights.

You'll play a key role in budgeting, forecasting and reporting, with a focus on areas including margin, labor productivity, cost reduction and operational performance.

This is a hands-on role where you'll work directly with business leaders to identify risks and opportunities, support decision-making and help drive improvements across the site.

What you'll be doing

• Play a key role in the annual Budget, quarterly Forecast and weekly Flash processes, partnering with business leaders to understand and challenge underlying assumptions.
• Analyze performance against budget, forecast and strategic goals, including sales, gross margin, EBITDA, cash flow and the key drivers behind each.
• Track financial and operational performance across areas including cost, margin, labor productivity, inventory, work in progress, bookings, throughput and turnaround time.
• Partner with Value Stream, Operations and site leaders to identify risks and opportunities and support improvements in financial and operational performance.
• Support margin improvement, labor productivity and cost reduction initiatives through analysis, visibility and ongoing performance tracking.
• Prepare and present financial reporting and narrative for site and senior management, clearly communicating performance drivers, risks and opportunities.
• Develop business cases, financial models, dashboards and analysis to support operational improvements, capital investments, headcount decisions and other site initiatives.

What you'll bring

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business or a related field.
• 3+ years of analyst experience in Finance, Accounting, Banking or a related field.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including financial model building and analysis of large datasets.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate data into meaningful business insights.
• Solid understanding of general accounting principles, financial statements and key financial drivers, combined with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Desirable: Working knowledge of SQL, Snowflake, Power BI or similar data and visualization tools.
• Desirable: Previous experience in a manufacturing, MRO or aerospace environment.
