Reports to: Metals Supervisor Cooperates with: Welding, Fabrication, Shipping Primary Responsibility: The fabricator is responsible for the production of MIRATECH products and components to meet internal and customer requirements. Duties/Responsibilities:Proficiency in sheet metal fabrication techniques and methods such as shearing, rolling, sawing, plasma cutting, punching, and forming the metals.Operate Waterjet and Press Break.Prepare sheet metal for welding per specs.To meet and/or exceed standards for safety, productivity, housekeeping, and attendance.Interpretation of blueprints and written part requirements.Process inspection, certification, and documentation as needed.Read parts list and determine if all parts are present.Interpret measurements and verify specifications.Cut and shape metals to be prepped for the welders.Other duties as assigned.
