Framing & Finish Carpentry Specialist

A day in this role

You’ll start by reviewing blueprints and construction plans, confirming measurements, and mapping layout lines. From there, you’ll cut and shape materials, assemble frameworks, and install key components—doors, windows, cabinets, flooring, and framing—while operating hand and power tools with safety top of mind. Throughout the day, you’ll inspect alignments and finishes, keep your workspace organized, and coordinate with supervisors, contractors, and other trades to keep the schedule on track.

Core responsibilities

• Interpret construction drawings and blueprints to plan work accurately.
• Measure, mark, cut, and assemble wood and related building materials.
• Install doors, windows, cabinets, flooring, framing, and other fixtures with precise alignment.
• Construct, repair, and maintain wooden structures and frameworks.
• Operate and maintain hand tools, power tools, and carpentry equipment safely.
• Verify finished work for quality, accuracy, and proper fit.
• Estimate material needs and minimize waste on every task.
• Follow specifications, building codes, and all site safety procedures.
• Keep tools in good order and maintain a clean, organized work area.
• Collaborate with contractors, supervisors, and teammates to meet project timelines.

What you bring

• Proficiency in Window Installation and Door Installation.
• Strong Tape Measure Reading skills and precise layout ability.
• Experienced in Framing plus Finish and Rough Carpentry.
• Confidence using hand and power tools while adhering to safety standards.
• A commitment to quality workmanship on all building components and fixtures.
