Right at Home is looking for an experienced Franchise Audit & Financial Analyst to assist the corporate office in ensuring the accuracy and compliance of franchise net billing reporting through audits, reconciliations, and financial review processes. The role also delivers financial modeling, forecasting, reporting, and business analysis to support strategic decision-making, identify opportunities for improvement, and enhance overall accounting and financial operations.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct royalty audits and financial reviews to ensure accurate, complete, and compliant franchise net billings reporting
  • Interpret franchise agreements and analyze financial data to identify discrepancies, reporting issues, and revenue opportunities
  • Reconcile royalty revenue across systems and maintain supporting audit documentation and management reporting
  • Partner with franchisees and internal stakeholders to resolve audit findings, support compliance initiatives, and improve reporting processes
  • Develop financial models, forecasts, budgets, and scenario analysis to support strategic planning, acquisitions, and investment decisions
  • Analyze Franchisee financial and operational performance, identify trends and improvement opportunities, and recommend actions to enhance business results
  • Support mergers, acquisitions, and other strategic investments including financial due diligence and post-acquisition financial reporting
  • Ability to read, analyze and interpret financial statements and management reports including balance sheets, income statements and cash flow statements
  • Drive process improvements, reporting automation, and the development of tools, metrics, and dashboards that improve data visibility and decision-making
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, external audits, and other accounting and finance activities across the organization
  • Lead special projects and ad hoc financial analyses in support of organizational growth and strategic initiatives
  • Perform special projects and other duties as assigned

Successful candidates will have:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting or related field
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation preferred
  • 3+ years of combined experience in auditing, accounting, and financial analysis
  • Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify trends, discrepancies, and business opportunities from complex data sets.
  • Proficiency in financial modeling, budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and data analysis.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and experience working with financial systems, reporting tools, databases, business intelligence tools, and large data sets, SQL experience preferred.
  • Ability to translate complex financial information into clear, actionable insights for management and executive leadership.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy, quality, and timely delivery of results.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present financial information to a variety of audiences.
  • Ability to build collaborative relationships and work effectively across departments and with external stakeholders including franchisees.
  • Strong project management, organizational, and prioritization skills, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives and deadlines.
  • Ability to exercise sound judgment, maintain confidentiality, and adapt in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
