Join the team at Residence Inn by Marriott Milpitas Silicon Valley as a Front Desk Agent, where you will be the welcoming face and first point of contact for our guests. In this role, you will ensure a seamless and positive check-in and check-out experience, provide exceptional customer service, and assist with guest inquiries to enhance their stay.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome guests upon arrival with a professional and friendly demeanor.
• Manage the check-in and check-out process efficiently and accurately.
• Respond promptly to guest inquiries and resolve issues or escalate when necessary.
• Maintain accurate records of room availability and guest information.
• Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance departments to ensure rooms are ready for guests.
• Process payments and manage billing transactions responsibly.
• Provide information about the hotel, amenities, and local attractions.
• Support other front desk duties as assigned to contribute to smooth hotel operations.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in a customer service or front desk role preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently and remain calm under pressure.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with hotel management software are a plus.
• Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

The Residence Inn by Marriott, Milpitas(a Pacific Hotel Management Hotel), functions 7 days a week, 24 hours a day. All associates must acknowledge and understand this fact and be aware that at times it may be necessary to move an associate from their accustomed shift as business dictates.
