We’re looking for an enthusiastic, outgoing, and motivated Sales & Front Desk Associate who loves building relationships, helping customers, and making a difference in the lives of dogs and their families.
This is more than a front desk job! You’ll play an important role in educating dog parents, growing our membership program, creating amazing customer experiences, and helping our location succeed. About the Position
As a Sales & Front Desk Associate, you’ll be the friendly face of Scenthound! You’ll welcome customers and their pups, educate dog parents about the benefits of routine hygiene care, recommend services and products, and turn first-time visitors into loyal members.
You’ll help keep our schedule full, build lasting customer relationships, and drive sales while creating a welcoming experience for every dog and their human.
We’re looking for someone who:
- Has sales experience and the confidence to recommend services and memberships. Membership sales experience is a big plus!
- Has customer service experience in retail, restaurants, hospitality, or a similar environment.
- Is comfortable using computers, scheduling systems, and technology.
- Has a genuine love for dogs and an interest in their health and wellness.
- Is reliable, dependable, and has reliable transportation.
- Is available to work weekends.

What You'll Do
Sales & Membership Growth
- Drive membership sales by educating dog parents about the importance of routine hygiene and wellness.
- Recommend memberships, service add-ons, and retail products based on each dog's needs.
- Work toward sales goals and key performance indicators, including average ticket value and rebooking rates.
- Follow up with potential members and build relationships that turn leads into loyal customers.
- Help retain existing members by providing excellent service and addressing their needs.
Customer Experience
- Welcome customers and their pups with a friendly, professional attitude.
- Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and maintain accurate customer profiles and records.
- Manage customer expectations and resolve concerns with care and professionalism.
- Encourage customers to book their next appointment before leaving.
Daily Operations
- Manage the cash drawer and handle daily transactions accurately.
- Keep the front desk and reception area clean, organized, and welcoming.
- Communicate effectively with bathers, groomers, and management to ensure a smooth customer experience.
- Follow Scenthound's sanitation, cleaning, and operational standards.
- Take on additional responsibilities as needed to support the team and the success of the location.
