Keyresponsibilities

• Guestservices:Welcomeguestswarmly,answerquestions,andassistwithrequestsorconcerns.

• Check-inandcheck-out:Registerarrivingguests,verifyreservations,issueroomkeys,andprocessdepartures.

• Reservations:Make,modify,andcancelreservationsusingthehotel’sreservationsystem.

• Payments:Processguestpayments,deposits,refunds,andinvoicesaccordingtohotelprocedures.

• Telephoneandcommunication:Answercalls,transfercalls,takemessages,andprovideaccurateinformationabouthotelservices.

• Problem-solving:Addressguestcomplaintsprofessionallyandrefermorecomplexissuestoasupervisorormanager.

• Coordination:Communicatewithhousekeepingandotherdepartmentsregardingroomavailability,guestrequests,andspecialaccommodations.

• Safetyandsecurity:Followhotelpoliciesforguestprivacy,cashhandling,andemergencyprocedures.

• Hotelstandards:MaintainaprofessionalappearanceanddeliverserviceconsistentwithIHGbrandstandards.

Qualificationsandskills

• Highschooldiplomaorequivalentpreferred.

• Strongverbalcommunicationandcustomerserviceskills.

• Basiccomputerskillsandabilitytolearnhotelbookingsoftware.

• Professional,friendly,andorganizeddemeanor.

• Abilitytomultitaskinabusyhotelenvironment.

• Flexibilitytoworkevenings,weekends,holidays,androtatingshiftsasrequired.

• Previoushotelorfrontdeskexperiencemaybepreferredbutisnotalwaysrequired
