As a Front Desk Clerk, you'll play a vital role in creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere for our guests. Your primary responsibility will be to register guests upon arrival, providing them with a seamless and efficient check-in process. Throughout their stay, you'll maintain open lines of communication, ensuring their needs are met and any issues are promptly addressed. Your friendly and professional demeanor will leave a lasting impression, contributing to our reputation for inspired hospitality.
- Greet and register guests upon arrival, ensuring a smooth and efficient check-in process.
- Communicate with guests throughout their stay, addressing any inquiries or concerns promptly.
- Maintain a clean and organized front desk area, ensuring a pleasant and professional environment.
- Process guest payments, handle cash transactions, and maintain accurate records.
- Answer incoming calls and provide information to guests and potential visitors.
- Assist with guest room assignments, ensuring an optimal match based on preferences and availability.
- Handle guest requests for services, such as room service or concierge assistance.
- Collaborate with other hotel departments to ensure a coordinated and seamless guest experience.
- Stay updated on hotel promotions and special offers, promoting them to guests as appropriate.

To fulfill this role successfully, you'll need to possess the following minimum qualifications and experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent; relevant post-secondary education in hospitality or tourism is an asset.
- Previous experience in a front desk or customer service role, preferably in the hospitality industry.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact professionally with guests and colleagues.
