About the Role:
Join our dynamic team at Powerhouse Gym in Linden, NJ, as a Front Desk Associate! This exciting role is perfect for individuals who love fitness and enjoy providing exceptional customer service in a vibrant gym environment.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist members and guests with a friendly and welcoming attitude.
- Manage front desk operations, including check-ins and membership inquiries.
- Handle phone calls and respond to emails regarding memberships and services.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front desk area.
- Process payments and assist with membership sign-ups and renewals.
- Promote gym programs, classes, and special offers to members.
- Schedule appointments for personal training and fitness assessments.
- Assist in resolving member concerns and complaints effectively.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in customer service or front desk operations preferred.
- Strong communication skills and a positive demeanor.
- Basic knowledge of fitness programs and gym equipment.
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in using computer systems and software.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Passion for fitness and helping others achieve their goals.
