    Job Title: Hotel Front Desk Receptionist
    Location: Benny's Colville Inn, Colville, Washington
    Job Type: Full-Time / Part-Time / Shift Work
    Reports To: Front Office Manager
    Job Summary:
    We are seeking a friendly, professional, and customer-focused Hotel Front Desk Receptionist to join our team. As the first point of contact for guests, you will play a key role in creating a welcoming experience. You will be responsible for handling guest check-ins and check-outs, reservations, and providing information and assistance throughout their stay.
    Key Responsibilities:
    • Greet guests upon arrival with a warm and welcoming attitude.
    • Check guests in and out efficiently, verifying reservations and issuing room keys.
    • Process payments, issue receipts, and maintain accurate billing records.
    • Answer incoming calls, respond to emails, and handle guest inquiries or requests.
    • Provide information about hotel services, amenities, local attractions, and directions.
    • Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance to ensure room readiness and respond to guest needs.
    • Address guest complaints or concerns promptly and professionally, escalating when necessary.
    • Maintain the front desk area, ensuring it is tidy, professional, and presentable at all times.
    • Follow hotel security procedures and safeguard guest confidentiality.
    • Perform daily shift reports and administrative tasks as required.
    Qualifications:
    • High school diploma or equivalent; associate's degree in hospitality or related field is a plus.
    • Proven experience in customer service; previous hotel front desk or receptionist experience preferred.
    • Proficiency with front desk systems and office software (e.g., MS Office, hotel booking software like Opera, Cloudbeds, or PMS systems).
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment.
    • Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
    • Professional appearance and demeanor.
    Work Conditions:
