Full time Front Desk Receptionist needed for busy family practice clinic in Piedmont
Monday - Friday, no weekends or major holidays
Responsibilities:
- Greet patients in a pleasant and professional manner
- Answer phones
- Check patients in/out
- Charge entry, collecting patient co-pays/balances
- Schedule office visits and procedures for new and existing patients
- Verify insurance eligibility/authorizations
- Entering patient demographics
- Chart prep, filing, scanning and indexing
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Knowledge of Epic or other electronic medical records system a plus
- Experience working with insurance and pre-authorizations
- Must be organized, able to adapt to change, work under busy situations while ensuring the best possible experience for our patients
- The ideal candidate has strong communication and computer skills, attention to detail and a welcoming professional attitude
- Must be able to work with physicians team to ensure proper clinic flow
- High School Graduate or equivalent required (GED)
