The Front Desk Supervisor at The Drey Hotel will oversee the daily operations of the front desk, ensuring the highest level of guest satisfaction and efficient service. This role requires a proactive, detail-oriented individual with excellent leadership and communication skills. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality and a commitment to maintaining the hotel's standards of excellence.
Responsibilities: - Leads entire shift as the Manager on Duty.
- Greet and welcome guests in a warm and professional manner.
- Address and resolve guest complaints and concerns promptly and efficiently.
- Ensure all guest requests and needs are met, providing personalized service.
- Oversee the check-in and check-out process, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.
- Supervise, train, and motivate front desk staff.
- Assist with billing and financial transactions, ensuring accuracy.
- Conduct regular inventory checks to ensure accurate stock levels.
- Identify low stock levels and generate purchase orders to replenish supplies.
- Maintain records of guest interactions, complaints, and feedback.
- Ensure compliance with hotel policies and procedures.
- Promote hotel services and amenities to enhance guest experience.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; degree in hospitality management or related field preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a hotel front desk or customer service role.
- Previous supervisory experience in a hospitality setting is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in hotel management software
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
