Front-End Developer (Angular / Ionic)

Location: Richmond, VA | Hybrid – 2 Days Onsite (Flexible) 

Salary: $90,000–$110,000 (flexible for exceptional candidates)

Our client is a fast-growing transportation technology company providing innovative mobility solutions for older adults and individuals with disabilities.

Operating across multiple U.S. states, the company partners with public transit agencies to deliver reliable, accessible transportation through its technology-driven platform.

MUST-HAVE Requirements

• 3+ years of professional software development experience.

• 2+ years of hands-on experience with Angular, version 14 or newer.

• Experience developing responsive, scalable, production-grade web applications.

• Solid understanding of front-end architecture and integration with RESTful APIs.

• Strong debugging, problem-solving, and collaboration skills.

• Ability to work onsite in Richmond, VA, 2 days per week. (Flexible)

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience developing mobile applications using Ionic.

• Experience with NgRx or similar state management libraries (Redux, Akita, MobX).

• Familiarity with Java / Spring Boot back-end development.

• Experience with AWS and PostgreSQL.

• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and Agile/Scrum methodologies.

• Experience with unit testing frameworks such as Jasmine, Karma, or Jest.

• Previous experience developing applications for transportation, healthcare, or mobility platforms.

About the Role:

• Develop and maintain scalable web and mobile applications using Angular and Ionic.

• Build responsive, user-friendly interfaces that support complex transportation and mobility services.

• Collaborate with back-end developers, product managers, and UI/UX designers to deliver new features.

• Integrate front-end applications with back-end services and third-party APIs.

• Participate in code reviews, testing, debugging, and continuous improvements.

• Contribute to a growing engineering team developing technology with a meaningful social impact.
