Job Title: Front Office Medical Assistant Location: Fresno, CA
Job Summary:
Were seeking an experienced Front Office Medical Assistant to join a busy Cardiology practice. The ideal candidate is dependable, organized, patient-focused, and comfortable working in a fast-paced medical office.
Schedule:
Monday Friday
8:ooam 5:00pm
Pay:
$23.00 -$25.00
Essential Job Functions:
Greet and check in/outpatients
Verify insurance and patient information
Schedule appointments and follow-ups
Answer phones and assist with patient inquiries
Maintain accurate patient charts and medication lists
Process referrals and prior authorizations
Coordinate with imaging centers, labs, and outside offices
Obtain medical records and update EMR information
Collect copays and assist with front-office tasks
Support daily clinic flow and provide excellent patient service
Requirements:
2+ years of Medical Assistant/front-office experience, preferably in cardiology
Bilingual Spanish preferred
CMA, RMA, or equivalent certification preferred
CPR/BLS preferred
Strong EMR, communication, and organizational skills
Ability to multitask in a high-volume environment
Available to start as soon as possible
Certifications:
High School Diploma
Medical Assistant certification
Current BLS/CPR Certification
