Front Office Medical Assistant

Our network includes over 250+ physicians in over 100+ clinics throughout the greater Long Beach, Los Angeles, Orange County, and Inland Empire areas.We are seeking a Temporary Front Office Medical Assistant for our clinical office in Long Beach, CA. Experience in Gynecology preferred. Job Type: Part-Time to Full-Time, TemporaryHours: Mon-Fri, 8:00am-4:30pmPay: $23-24/hr Responsibilities:Greet and check in patientsVerify insurance coverage and demographic informationMaintain accurate documentation in the EHR systemSchedule, confirm, and reschedule appointments and follow-up visitsAnswer incoming calls and respond to patient inquiriesRoute messages to appropriate staff membersCollect co-pays and patient balancesProcess patient payments accuratelyAssist with referrals, prior authorizations, and medical records requestsMonitor patient flow and communicate wait times professionallyComplete daily administrative tasks, including scanning, filing, and stocking front desk suppliesQualifications and Skills:At least 1 year of front office experience in a clinical healthcare settingBilingual, preferredGynecology experience, preferredOrganized and patient-focusedComfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative clinical environmentBenefits:401kPaid Sick LeaveProHealth Partners is an Equal Opportunity Employer9.9 JE
