POSITION Front Office Medical Assistant
Position Type: Temporary/Temp-Hire
Schedule: M-F, 8:30 am - 5:30 pm
Assignment Length: Approximately 4-Months, possibly Longer.
DESCRIPTION
Our client is currently seeking a friendly, organized, and dependable Front Office Assistant to join their healthcare team. This position plays a vital role in creating a welcoming and efficient front office experience for patients.
RESPONSIBILITIES- Greet and check in patients with warmth and professionalism
- Answer and direct phone calls, take detailed messages, and schedule appointments
- Verify insurance coverage and collect co-pays and patients payments
- Maintain and update patient records with accuracy and confidentiality
- Coordinate with clinical staff to ensure smooth patient flow and timely appointments
- Perform general administrative duties including filing, scanning, and faxing
REQUIREMENTS- Previous front desk or administrative experience in a medical office preferred
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in using scheduling software and basic office equipment
- Reliable, punctual, and a team-oriented attitude
- High School Diploma
