Orthopaedic Surgery and Sports Medicine Associates is looking for a Front Office Medical Assistant to join our team. This position begins as a temporary role, with the opportunity to transition to full-time employment based on performance.

\n

\n

Pay: $21/hour

\n

\n

What you'll do:

\n

✔️ Answer phones, schedule appointments, and greet patients

\n

✔️ Verify insurance and manage referrals/authorizations

\n

✔️ Maintain accurate patient records in our EMR system

\n

✔️ Collect payments and reconcile daily reports

\n

✔️ Be the welcoming first face of our practice

\n

\n

What we're looking for:

\n

✔️ Associate's degree or equivalent, or 6 months–1 year of relevant experience

\n

✔️ Strong communication skills and comfort working with patients

\n

✔️ Basic computer/EMR skills (Prime Clinical experience a plus — training provided!)

\n

✔️ Experience with NextGen systems preferred

\n

✔️ Familiarity with orthopedic care (joints, sports medicine) preferred

\n

✔️ HIPAA-conscious, detail-oriented, and dependable

\n

\n
