Job Summary and Qualifications
We are seeking a(an) Pharmacist FSED for our team to ensure that we continue to provide all patients with high quality, efficient care. Did you get into our industry for these reasons? What you will do in this role:
You will utilize good problem-solving abilities, making sure that problems are resolved, calling on other knowledgeable parties as necessary.
You will maintain strong knowledge of hospital policies and government regulations and dispense accordingly.
You will consult with physicians and nursing staff regarding patient reactions, errors and complaints.
You will determine and consult on possible drug interactions.
You will assist with quality improvement initiatives, inventory and ordering of pharmaceuticals.
You will monitor, record and communicate as appropriate utilizing computerized documentation systems.
You will utilize knowledge of age specific needs of patient in performance of duties and responsibilities.
They will be the pharmacist in charge and responsible for management of compliance and pharmacy operations at the FSED.
Expected schedule: part time 3 days per week, 8 hour shifts (day shift)
What qualifications you will need:
Current TN Pharmacist licensure or eligible for licensure
One-year hospital experience or equivalent required
Hospital pharmacy residency preferred
Excellent communication and computer skills
Advanced Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date
Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date
Doctorate Degree, or Bachelors Degree
