Job DescriptionResponsible for set-up break down and cleaning of all banquet spaces and functions.What will I be doingA Houseperson is responsible for supporting Food and Beverage operations to deliver an excellent Guest and Member experience while ensuring cleanliness of all areas and maintaining equipment. Specifically you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standardsMaintain cleanliness of banquet meeting and conference areas to meet established cleanliness and quality standardsCleaning includes but not limited tovacuuming removing trash stocking and maintaining supply rooms reporting maintenance deficiencies for repairreplacement and cleaning and removing spots insects and debrisEnsure equipment is in full working order and report any defectsProject a professional manner to guests and team membersAssist back of house team when requestedAble to lift and Push Banquet EquipmentAssist with set ups to ensure department runs efficientlyManage the set up relating to Food and Beverage functions in a timely mannerLiftPullPush at least 50 poundsComply with hotel security fire regulations and all health and safety legislationAttend training provided by the hotelWhat are we looking forTo fulfill this role successfully you must possess the following minimum qualifications and experienceBasic knowledge of Meeting Rooms Set up service standards guest relations and etiquetteKnowledge of appropriate table settings and service wareMust posses strong organizational skillsAbility to work in outdoor areasBe familiar with all events happening at the hotelAbility to perform under pressure effectively for extensive periods of time while maintaining professionalismWhat are we looking forSince being founded in 1919 Hilton has been a leader in the hospitality industry.
