Job description: Job Overview This mid-sized company is seeking an experienced Full-charge Bookkeeper to manage all financial record-keeping. This role handles everything from daily transactions (AP/AR, payroll) to producing month/year-end financial statements, combining basic bookkeeping with advanced accounting tasks. Key Responsibilities Transaction Management: Data entry, accounts payable (bills), and accounts receivable (invoices). Reconciliation: Reconciling bank, credit card, and loan accounts. Payroll & Taxes: Processing payroll and deductions using the Paychex system. Managing employee onboarding and offboarding paperwork to ensure all documentation is complete and submitted. Financial Reporting: Preparing balance sheets, income statements (P&L), and cash flow statements. Month/Year-End Close: Closing books, preparing for audits, and handling year-end filings. Qualifications Minimum 4 years of experience as a Full-charge Bookkeeper. Proficient in accounting principles and understanding of double-entry bookkeeping and journal entries. Experience with accounting software, preferably Sage 50. Proficient in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, graphs, and charts. Strong analytical and critical thinking skills for problem-solving and data-driven reporting. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proven ability to prioritize projects, meet deadlines, and maintain reliable attendance.
