We're a boutique recruiting firm in Naperville. We run high-volume sales hiring programs for a Fortune 500 logistics company, and specialized technology and leadership searches for growing businesses. Our clients stay with us because we tell candidates the truth about the job, we deliver people who show up and stay, and we never make a hiring manager chase us for an update.
We're growing into 2027, and we're looking for our first full desk recruiter: someone who wants to own client relationships, deliver great hires, and help build the way this firm works.
How we work, and what you'll do:
• Partner with hiring managers like you're on their team. Learn what a great hire looks like for each team, not just what the job description says.
• Run full-cycle recruiting: intake, sourcing, screening, submittals, offers, and pre-start check-ins so new hires actually show up on day one.
• Give every candidate an honest picture of the role, the pay, and the first 90 days. We'd rather lose a candidate in the first call than in the first week.
• Grow the accounts you support and bring in new clients.
• Use AI throughout your day, from sourcing and outreach to notes and reporting, so your time goes into the conversations that matter.
• Keep every tracker, submittal, and client update accurate. Details are how we earn trust.
You'll fit right in if you are:
• Emotionally intelligent. You read people well and can be candid and kind in the same conversation, whether it's a candidate weighing an offer or a client under pressure.
• Efficient. You close every loop, protect your calendar, and never let a candidate wonder what's next.
• Exceptional attention to detail a must.
• Someone who works smarter, not harder. You build templates, checklists, and shortcuts, and you're always asking how to do it better next time.
• AI positive. You already use AI in your work, you check its output, and you protect candidate and client information.
• Driven by results. You like a scoreboard and own your numbers.
Requirements
What you bring:
• Minimum 4+ years of full-cycle recruiting, agency or corporate
• Business development experience, or a real appetite to build it
• High-volume or technology recruiting experience is a plus
• Applicant tracking system experience (Zoho Recruit and workday is a plus)
