The Role
This is an outstanding opportunity where you will play a key role on our engineering team within the Digital Experiences Technology division. You will contribute to architecting, building, testing, and crafting the features that improve Fidelity's Digital Experiences. Supporting and collaborating with an agile team to deliver best-in-class web applications.
Coordinating with various collaborators to ensure the successful implementation of technical solutions.
The Expertise and Skills You Bring
BS/BA Degree or equivalent experience preferred
Comprehensive software engineering experience spanning more than 6 years; experience in financial services is an advantage
Extensive experience decomposing sophisticated business problems into creative, efficient, and scalable solutions
Robust critical thinking skills coupled with a desire for growth and learning
Experience communicating technical needs to non-technical team members
Proficiency in both server-side (e.g., Java EE, Spring Boot) and client-side (e.g., Angular 14+, JavaScript) technologies
Experience with enterprise application architecture and orchestration frameworks such as Apache Camel
Your experience with the following will be a plus:
DevOps concepts governing SCM, continuous integration, monitoring, and deployment processes
Client-side unit testing frameworks and test runners like Jasmine and Karma
Docker containerization and AWS cloud deployment
The W3C's Web Content Accessibility Guidelines implementation
GitHub Copilot or other AI-assisted development tools
