Job Summary

Application Support

• Provide day-to-day support for Epic HB applications.
• Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve incidents, service requests, and system issues.
• Monitor application performance and ensure timely issue resolution.
• Participate in on-call support and critical issue management as required.

Configuration & Maintenance

• Configure and maintain Epic HB workflows, charge capture, billing rules, and reimbursement processes.
• Support system updates, upgrades, and optimization initiatives.
• Assist in build validation, integrated testing, and user acceptance testing activities.
• Maintain application documentation, build specifications, and support procedures.

Business & Stakeholder Collaboration

• Collaborate with Revenue Cycle, Patient Financial Services, and operational teams to understand business requirements.
• Analyze workflow gaps and recommend system improvements.
• Support end-user training and knowledge transfer activities.
• Participate in customer meetings and provide application support updates.

Compliance & Quality

• Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, billing standards, and organizational policies.
• Support audit activities and data quality reviews.
• Maintain security, integrity, and confidentiality of healthcare information. [JDs | Word]

Required Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Healthcare Informatics, Business Administration, or related field.
• 2 to 4 years of experience supporting Epic applications.
• Active Epic Hospital Billing (HB) Certification preferred.
• Understanding of Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) and hospital billing processes.
• Experience in production support, incident management, and troubleshooting.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills. [JDs | Word]

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in healthcare provider environments.
• Knowledge of Epic Resolute HB workflows.
• Familiarity with claims processing, charge review, reimbursement, and denial management.
• Exposure to Epic PB, HIM, Prelude, or Cadence modules.
• Experience with ServiceNow and ITIL-based support processes.
