Job Description: Senior Azure Java Microservices Developer (Azure Cloud)

Position Title

Senior Java Developer - Spring Boot Microservices & Azure Cloud

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior Java Developer with strong expertise in Spring Boot, Microservices Architecture, and Microsoft Azure Cloud. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, deploying, and maintaining scalable cloud-native applications using modern DevOps practices. Experience with Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), Docker, GitHub Actions, and Azure Cosmos DB is essential.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade applications using Java and Spring Boot.

Build and implement scalable Microservices-based architectures.

Develop RESTful APIs and integrate with internal and external systems.

Deploy, manage, and monitor cloud-native applications on Microsoft Azure.

Containerize applications using Docker and orchestrate deployments via Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).

Design and implement CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions.

Work with Azure Cosmos DB for data storage, retrieval, and performance optimization.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Business Analysts, QA, DevOps, and Product Owners.

Troubleshoot production issues and provide timely resolutions.

Follow best practices for code quality, security, scalability, and performance.

Required Technical Skills

Strong experience in Java 8/11/17+

Extensive hands-on experience with Spring Boot

Solid understanding of Microservices Architecture

Experience building and consuming REST APIs

Strong expertise in Microsoft Azure Cloud

Experience with Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS)

Hands-on experience with Docker and containerization

Experience creating and maintaining GitHub Actions CI/CD pipelines

Experience with Azure Cosmos DB

Knowledge of Git version control

Understanding of cloud security, scalability, and monitoring concepts
