    Description

    OVERVIEW
     

    Releady is partnering with the Northeast regional operator of the top-selling furniture and home furnishings retail brand in North America to hire a Full Stack Developer with a front-end focus. The company runs more than twenty stores across the New York metro market from a corporate headquarters in New Jersey and is in the middle of an AI-first technology transformation led by an internal Technology and AI Center of Excellence.

    In this role, you will build and enhance customer-facing web applications using C# and .NET technologies, with primary responsibility for delivering intuitive, responsive user interfaces. While the work spans the full stack, front-end craft is the center of the position. You will also be expected to use AI development tools as a standard part of your daily workflow, as the technology organization is actively expanding its use of AI tooling and automated agents inside its Microsoft environment.

     

    • Employment Type: Independent Contractor Engagement (approximately 40 hours per week)
    • Location: Remote - Bogota, Colombia - REMOTE POSITION
    • Compensation: $2,600 - $3,350 USD per month, depending on experience
    • NOTE: This engagement is open to candidates based in Colombia and is structured as an independent contractor arrangement. Candidates must be able to contract independently in Colombia and have regular availability during United States Eastern business hours for collaboration.
     
     
    RESPONSIBILITIES

    Front-End Development (Primary Focus)

    • Design and build modern, user-centric interfaces for customer-facing web applications
    • Develop responsive, maintainable UI components using Blazor or comparable .NET frameworks
    • Partner with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into clean, intuitive user experiences
    • Ensure applications are performant, accessible, and aligned with current front-end best practices

    Full Stack Contributions

    • Build and maintain web applications end to end using C# and .NET Core
    • Integrate front-end interfaces with back-end services and APIs
    • Contribute to code reviews and help shape shared development standards
    • Troubleshoot and optimize both client-side and server-side code

    Innovation and AI-Assisted Development

    • Use AI development tools to improve productivity, code quality, and delivery speed
    • Work closely with designers, product managers, and other developers to deliver production-quality solutions
    • Coordinate with the product team through established delivery rhythms and contribute to continuous improvement
     
     
    QUALIFICATIONS

    • Strong proficiency in C# and .NET, with ASP.NET Core experience preferred
    • Solid front-end development experience with modern frameworks; Blazor experience is highly valued
    • Demonstrated ability to build clean, responsive user interfaces for customer-facing applications
    • Strong command of web fundamentals including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
    • Working familiarity with Git and collaborative development workflows
    • Proven use of AI development tools such as GitHub Copilot or ChatGPT in an active workflow
    • Strong written and verbal English communication skills and demonstrated attention to detail

    Preferred

    • React experience, Python knowledge, and exposure to Azure or another cloud platform
    • Familiarity with SQL and database management, CI/CD pipelines, and UI/UX design systems
    • Product-oriented mindset with demonstrated customer empathy

    Education and Experience

    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
    • Two or more years of professional development experience preferred, with flexibility for the right candidate
