Technical Requirements

Backend Development Python

3+ years of Python development experience
Proficiency with Flask RESTful API design, middleware, blueprints, app factory pattern
Proficiency with FastAPI async endpoints, dependency injection, Pydantic models, OpenAPI documentation
Experience with SQLAlchemy ORM modeling, query optimization, relationship mapping
Experience with unit testing frameworks (pytest)

Frontend Development React + Kendo UI + TypeScript

3+ years of React development experience
Experience with Kendo UI for React
Strong understanding of component lifecycle, hooks, and state management (Redux, Context API, Zustand)
Experience building responsive, accessible, and performant UIs
Experience integrating TypeScript in React projects

General Engineering Skills

Solid understanding of RESTful API and JSON-RPC 2.0 design principles
Experience with Git version control (branching strategies, PRs, code reviews)
Strong debugging, profiling, and performance optimization skills
String understanding of shell scripting

Experience developing macOS applications in Objective-C (AppKit/Cocoa UI)

Battery Test Engineer

Key Qualifications:

" Experience in Battery Management System (Client) firmware, mix of QA &
Development.
" Strong Programming skills (preferably in Python) for test automation.
" Experienced in various test tools like battery testers, source meter, multi meter, etc.
" Excellent debugging skills to tackle challenging problems.
" Strong analytical/problem solving skills to support proposed solutions.
" Ability to articulate design issues and path to resolution both verbally and with
Documentation.
" Proven ability to work independently under high pressure and comfortable working
in a dynamic environment.
" Knowledge of Li-Ion chemistries and cell modeling is a plus.
" Prior industrial experience in hardware/firmware verification and validation is
preferred.

Responsibilities:

" Work with other technicians and test engineers to execute electrical and battery
cycler tests and provide accurate result report.
" Generate KPI for day to day lab activities.
" Review BMU schematics and layout to verify conformance and to determine
testability.
" Conduct investigations and prepares reports to support investigations.
" Co-develop procedures and analyzes data for validation activities.
" Run complex test setups and DOEs using high accuracy test equipment.

Title : Inductive Automation & System QA Engineer
Location : Cupertino, CA (Day 1 onsite)

Objective :
Seeking an Inductive Automation & System QA Engineer to design, build, and bring up automated test stations for wireless charging systems.
This role requires a hybrid background in software automation and mechanical/CAD fixture design.

Key Responsibilities

Mechanical Bring-Up:
Design in 3D CAD, prototype (3D printing/machining), and assemble custom test fixtures, nest plates, and alignment jigs.

Software Automation : Architect and maintain Python-based test frameworks controlling lab instrumentation (programmable power supplies, electronic loads, DAQs, relays).

Bench Integration : Deploy end-to-end test benches combining physical actuators/stages with software harnesses for reliable, unattended runs.

Validation & Execution : Run automated charge stability, regression, and protocol testing across inductive charging setups (Qi, Qi2, magnetic charging).

Issue Characterization : Root-cause electromechanical, firmware, and software defects; document findings and drive bugs to resolution with cross-functional teams.

Skills & Qualifications

Must-Haves Experience:

BS in ME, Mechatronics, EE, CS, or equivalent with 3+ years testing complex electromechanical/embedded systems.

Mechanical & CAD:

Proficiency in 3D CAD (NX, SolidWorks, or similar) for fixture and jig design. Hands-on rapid prototyping (3D printing, light fabrication) and actuator/sensor integration.

Software Development:

Strong Python skills with experience building modular test frameworks from scratch. Hands-on instrument control (SCPI, VISA, Serial, USB) for lab hardware.

System QA: Solid defect isolation across hardware, firmware, and host software layers. Proven ability to write test plans, manage regression runs, and communicate issues clearly in English.

Preferred
Experience with inductive/wireless charging standards (Qi, Qi2) and USB-PD.
Experience with SQL databases and automated test telemetry/reporting dashboards.
Familiarity with Git and hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) automation pipelines.
