We are seeking an experienced Full Stack Java Developer to support the development and enhancement of high-performance, scalable software applications. The successful candidate will contribute to building reliable, extensible, and efficient systems within a fast-paced technology environment.
The role requires experience with highly automated software development workflows and containerized runtime environments. The ideal candidate is comfortable collaborating with distributed teams, optimizing code based on performance metrics, and leveraging modern development tools, including AI-assisted solutions. Experience with order management systems (OMS), capital markets, or low-latency applications is highly desirable.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, test, and deploy enhancements to high-performance software applications.
Maintain, troubleshoot, and optimize existing applications and systems.
Collaborate with software engineers and cross-functional teams across different time zones.
Identify opportunities to automate repetitive tasks and improve development efficiency.
Analyze application performance and implement data-driven optimizations.
Contribute to software design decisions, code quality improvements, and development best practices.
Required Skills and Experience
10 years of hands-on software engineering experience, preferably developing low-latency or real-time systems.
Strong proficiency in Java, including concurrency, performance tuning, and memory management.
Proficiency with Linux/UNIX command-line tools and environments.
Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills.
Experience in cash equities and a strong understanding of capital markets.
Nice to Have
Experience using AI-assisted or agentic AI tools for software development and maintenance.
Familiarity with container technologies such as Docker or Podman and orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes.
Experience with messaging and event-streaming technologies such as Kafka and Aeron.
Knowledge of performance profiling, metrics collection, and data-driven optimization techniques.
Working knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and automated software delivery practices.
Experience with order management systems (OMS) or electronic trading platforms.
