Kforce has a client that is seeking a Full Stack Developer in Whitehouse Station, NJ.
Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Full Stack Developer with strong Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance expertise and CPCU (Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter) experience to enhance a newly developed Claims Intake platform. The application is built using Angular, .NET, and Microsoft Azure, with APIs supporting data exchange and integrations with the Customer Claim Application and other enterprise systems.
This role requires a combination of hands-on technical development and strong P&C insurance knowledge to translate claims business requirements into effective technology solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, test, and enhance features within a P&C Claims Intake platform
- Develop front-end functionality using Angular and TypeScript and backend services using C# and .NET
- Build, consume, and enhance REST APIs supporting claims data and system integrations
- Support integrations between the Claims Intake platform, Customer Claim Application, and other insurance systems
- Develop and deploy scalable application components within Microsoft Azure
- Apply Property & Casualty insurance knowledge to translate business, underwriting, policy, and claims requirements into technical solutions
- Partner with claims SMEs, product owners, business analysts, architects, and engineering teams to define and deliver new application features
- Enhance and automate workflows across claims intake, FNOL (First Notice of Loss), policy validation, and downstream claims processing
- Troubleshoot application, integration, API, and data-flow issues
Requirements:
- 5+ years of full-stack software development experience
- Strong hands-on experience with Angular, TypeScript, C#, and .NET/.NET Core
- Experience developing and integrating RESTful APIs
- Experience building cloud applications using Microsoft Azure
- Strong Property & Casualty insurance industry experience, particularly within claims, policy, or underwriting environments
- Understanding of P&C claims processes, including claims intake and FNOL workflows
- Experience working with integrations and data exchanges across insurance applications
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work directly with both business and technical stakeholders
- CPCU designation or significant progress toward CPCU certification strongly preferred
- Experience supporting or modernizing P&C insurance claims platforms
- Knowledge of personal and/or commercial insurance lines
- Experience with claims workflow automation and digital claims intake
- Familiarity with Agile delivery, CI/CD, Git, Azure DevOps, and cloud-native development
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
