Immanuel Communities is seeking an experienced Full-time Cook to work at The Landing, located at 3500 Faulkner Drive, Lincoln, NE 68516. The Landing has 90 independent living, 34 assisted living and 14 memory support apartment homes.

One position will have the following schedule:  Week 1: Sunday and Thursday off. Work 11:00am-7:00pm on workdays. Week 2: Tuesday and Saturday off. Work Sunday 6:00am-2:00pm, and the other workdays 11:00am-7:00pm. Holidays required.

The other position will be scheduled: Sunday and Friday off 1 week, Saturday and Wednesday off the next week. 11:00am-7:00pm on workdays. Holidays required.   

This position will pay up to $19.68/hour plus $2,000 Hiring Bonus (conditions apply)*.  Pay will be based upon experience, certifications, skills and education.

What You Will Do

The responsibilities of this job include all types of food preparation, including but not limited to baking, grilling, stove-top and oven cooking; and cleaning the kitchen. Additionally, assists in any duty as needed in the kitchen area

Skills & Requirements

High School Diploma/GED is required.

One (1) year of cooking experience beyond the level of fast food/fast casual is required.

Minimum age of 18 is required for this role.
