Position Summary

Essential Responsibilities

Guest Service

• Greet customers in a friendly, professional, and welcoming manner.
• Deliver exceptional customer service and create memorable guest experiences.
• Accurately take customer orders and process transactions.
• Address guest questions and concerns promptly and professionally.
• Ensure every guest receives fast, friendly, and accurate service.

Food Preparation & Quality

• Prepare food products according to Wendy's recipes and operating standards.
• Maintain food freshness, presentation, and portion control standards.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health department requirements.
• Ensure proper product holding times and food temperatures are maintained.

Teamwork & Operations

• Work collaboratively with team members and management to achieve restaurant goals.
• Assist in multiple restaurant areas, including front counter, drive-thru, dining room, and kitchen operations.
• Adapt quickly to changing business needs and support teammates during peak periods.
• Follow all company policies, procedures, and safety standards.

Restaurant Cleanliness

• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized restaurant environment.
• Clean and stock workstations, dining areas, restrooms, and equipment.
• Complete assigned opening, closing, and cleaning duties.
• Ensure restaurant appearance consistently meets company standards.

Qualifications

Required

• Positive attitude and strong customer service skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
• Ability to perform well in a fast-paced setting while maintaining accuracy.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.
• Must be at least 16 years of age.
• Must possess all documents and permits required by federal, state, and local laws.

Preferred

• Previous restaurant, retail, or customer service experience.
• Food safety certification, where applicable.
• Open availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Ability to frequently bend, reach, lift, and move throughout the restaurant.
• Ability to occasionally lift up to 30 pounds.
• Ability to safely operate restaurant equipment.
• Ability to work near hot cooking equipment, fryers, and refrigeration units.
• Ability to perform repetitive tasks while maintaining efficiency and quality.

Work Environment

Full-Time Crew Members work in a fast-paced restaurant environment that requires frequent interaction with guests and team members. Work schedules may include mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends, holidays, and overtime as business needs require.

The Wendy’s Story
First of all, yes, Wendy is a real person. And a pretty special one, being the daughter of our founder Dave Thomas. Today, she is one of the most involved and successful franchise owners in the Wendy’s enterprise. We think Dave would be proud. Back in 1969, he looked around at all other hamburger joints and was like, “Nah. People deserve better.” At the time, other quick-service restaurants were using frozen beef and mass-producing food.
